Lola Vice has entered the world of professional wrestling after competing in mixed martial arts at the beginning of 2022, in Bellator. She had a successful WWE tryout, and was signed to a contract and became an up-and-coming star in the brand shortly after.

Since getting into the developmental roster, Vice has resonated with fans and has gained a number of opportunities at championship gold. Her next opportunity will be one of the biggest ones, as she is to face Jacy Jayne to become the NXT Women Champion at NXT No Mercy.
Ahead of this high-profile match, Vice opened up about her opponent during a conversation with O’Shea Jackson Jr. and TJ Jefferson on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast. She stressed that she is pursuing the same title as Jayne but she admires the champion greatly.
“Jacy could be a b**** sometimes, she can. But I will say, she’s a locker room leader. She leads by example. She’s an extremely hard-working person. She never complains. She’s incredible at her job. She’s taught me a lot. And I feel like Jacy, also, she’s one of the best women’s strikers we have in wrestling that has never had a striking background before,” said Lola Vice.
Praise for Jacy Jayne’s Leadership
Vice said that Jayne has been a major presence in the NXT locker room both as a competitor and as an influence. Her inspirational skills and her work ethic have been most noticed by Vice, who has attributed her development as a wrestler to learning off Jayne.

“I like the way she thinks, and she’s so passionate about wrestling. She inspires me – even though I want her title – she inspires me. Yeah, I’ve learned so much from her. And I’m really happy that she’s in the position she’s in right now,” Vice continued.
Through such words, Vice created the image of Jacy Jayne as both a teacher and an adversary, which shows the degree of respect she earns among her peers despite the inherent competitive nature that exists between them.
Lola Vice’s MMA Journey Before WWE
The MMA career of Vice was short but achieved. She fought 5 matches, of which she lost one and won four. Her experience in athletics, especially in striking, served as a good background, but she said the transition to wrestling was not easy.
“So I always say I think it’s easier to teach someone how to strike and how to throw and do stuff in the WWE rather than reversing a habit…I’m not gonna lie, when I got to WWE I struggled. I didn’t know if it was for me, I didn’t know if I would pick it up as easy as I did fighting in the cage,” said Lola Vice.
Her open account of that journey manifested hardships of beginning again in a new sport but it also demonstrated the perseverance she had, which she had acquired during her MMA days.
Future in WWE and Jacy Jayne Rivalry
Vice said that she applied the same dedication to wrestling that she had applied to fighting and this has seen her rise up the NXT ladder. She has not succeeded in winning the championship yet, but a future match against Jacy Jayne will likely change her WWE career.
At the moment, Jacy Jayne is a respected leader and the greatest impediment on the way of Vice. By what Vice stated, her match with NXT champion at No Mercy will be not only about the title, but a test of herself against one of the most respected talents in NXT.
