Chinese smartphone manufacturing company Infinix has introduced its new smartphone, the Infinix GT 50 Pro in select gloabl market as part of its gaming-oriented smartphone lineup. The handset succeeds in the GT 30 Pro and brings major upgrades in processing, cooling, and input controls. The device runs on Android 16 based XOS 16 and consists of an in-house N1 network management chip aimed at enhancing connectivity. The phone also integrates hardware elements designed to support gaming use cases, consisting of pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers.

Infinix GT 50 Pro features and specifications
The device features a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPS display with a 1.5K resolution and supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The newly introduced handset also offers up to 330Hz touch sampling and 2,800Hz of instant touch sampling whereas the peak brightness goes up to 4,500 nits. Additionally, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimnesity 8400 Ultimate Chipset built on 4nm process. The chipset is paired with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU, 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.
In terms of optics, the rear panel of the device features a dual camera setup offering a primary sensor of 50MP with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The front panel of the device features a 13MP camera for selfie and video calling.
The newly launched GT 50 Pro consists of pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers with 10 pressure levels and multiple mapping options. These triggers can be used for gaming inputs as well as it acts like launching apps or controlling media.
The device uses a HydroFlow liquid cooling system with a micro-pump design for heat dissipation. The handset is packed with a 6,500mAh battery supported by 45W wired fast charging, 30W wireless charging, and reverse charging options. The connectivity options include features such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C
Infinix GT 50 Pro Price and India Launch
The Infinix GT 50 Pro is launched at a starting price of IDR 69,98,000 (around Rs 35,000) for the base variant offering 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. While the higher variant offering 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage is priced at Rs IDR 74,99,000 which is roughly Rs 40,000.
The device is currently available in Indonesia only and it is offered in Black Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacier colour options.
In terms of India launch the company has not officially stated this but experts and industry insiders claim that the device may launch in India with a different name later launched in India by last quarter of 2026.
