Hulu is poised to take the show concept about dating to a new level on its soon to be released unscripted show, Are You My First? It is a program which gathers 21 single individuals, and the most outstanding thing about the participants is that they all are virgins. The series was described as a revolutionary social experiment, and with that franchise came the exploration of love and intimacy in a puritanical setting, taking a sharp contrast to the hyper-sexualized light the likes of modern-day reality dating based shows undergo. That premieres Monday, August 18 on Hulu in the United States and Disney+ elsewhere.
The cast is a mixed group of people all over the U.S. and they will experience romantic dates, obstacles and emerging relationships on a tropical island searching to find a true connection and maybe, their first physical connection.

The men and women of the hopeful romantics on Are You My First? are a combination of 10 guys and 11 girls who all have a reason behind their celibacy. They include such diverse occupations and backgrounds as a commercial pilot and ex-NFL cheerleader, a marketing manager and stand-up comedian.
There also is a familiar face across Bachelor Nation: Mike Planeta, a competitor on Katie Thurston season of The Bachelorette.
