Indian stock markets may start off quietly today, with not much movement expected. GIFT Nifty futures were up just 0.2 points, showing a flat to slightly positive opening. This comes as global markets send mixed signals.

In the U.S., stock markets closed mixed last night. The S&P 500 fell 0.24%, Nasdaq dropped 0.67%, and the Dow Jones stayed almost flat, just slightly in the green.
Asian markets were also mixed this morning. China, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Australia were trading higher, while Japan’s Nikkei was down.
