Hari Hara Veera Mallu, a much-hyped period action film featuring Power Star Pawan Kalyan, is ready to make its digital premiere and reach a much-larger audience, since the 17 th century saga of revolt and justice did not receive a positive reception in the theatre.
Under the directorship of Krish Jagarlamudi and A. M. Jyothi Krishna, the movie stars Pawan Kalyan as the Outlaw title hero along with Bobby Deol, the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb and Nidhhi Agerwal. The film, based on the quest of a warrior to retrieve the mythical diamond Koh-i-Noor, is now streaming.
The OTT Destination and Release Date
Amazon Prime Video has got the streaming rights of Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Streaming of the film will start August 20, 2025. It is a digital release that is only a couple of weeks after the theatrical Auction premiered on July 24, 2025. The producers have ensured that the movie will come in various languages depending on the South Indians such as Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
So far, no official declaration has been made about a Hindi or Kannada version. The release via internet is a tactical move to make them reach a widely spread audience and make the money back on the theatre scene.
Re-edited Version for the Digital Audience
In a bold decision to mark the digital release, the producers of Hari Hara Veera Mallu are said to have re-edited the movie. Using the response of audiences at the theatrical release, criticisms made of the poor screenplay and graphics have been addressed by shortening or repackaging the sequences. This part of it was the revision of the climax and elimination of some scenes in order to give a polished and smoother viewing.
On social media fans have been overt, hoping that visual glitches are sorted and the movie makers have heard them. We can anticipate a clearer and more interesting storyline in the OTT version as compared to the theatre-screen one.
