Dhaka: An Indian girl. Tarishi Jain, a student of Berkeley who was among one of the hostages held in cafe Holey Artisan Bakery situated in an elite area of Dhaka that was attacked last night by terrorists has been killed.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj informed about the shocking death of the girl in a series of tweets.
"I am extremely pained to share that terrorists have killed Tarushi Jain", she tweeted.
The 12-hour-long terrorist siege ended on Saturday morning, with the killing of six terrorists, and the capture of one gunman. 20 people have been killed in the attack while thirteen hostages have been rescued.
